University of Verona showcases METEOR at SIPED National Conference 2026 in Turin

From 22–24 January 2026, the University of Verona (UNIVR) presented the METEOR project at the SIPED National Conference in Turin, Italy. The conference theme—“The University of the Future, the Future of the University”—offered a timely setting to discuss how doctoral education can evolve to support societal needs.

During the session, UNIVR highlighted METEOR’s focus on strengthening transversal competences for doctoral candidates and early career researchers, and on advancing socially responsible research practices. The presentation invited dialogue on how collaborative and interdisciplinary approaches can help redefine the university’s public role and increase the impact of research beyond academia.
