METEOR Project reaches Young Entrepreneurs at Burgos Dissemination Event

In March 2025, the METEOR project dissemination event organised by CEEI-Burgos took place at the Golden Garden events venue in Burgos, Spain. A total of 58 participants—including university master and PhD students, as well as young entrepreneurs—attended the event.

The session was held within the framework of the IX Meeting of Young Entrepreneurs, an annual event organised by CEEI Burgos in collaboration with local stakeholders. The initiative aims to promote entrepreneurship, social development, and soft skills, particularly among young people.

To attract participants, the event began with a pitch competition where attendees presented their business ideas in three-minute pitches to a jury of experts. Prior to the presentations, participants received tips and guidance on effective pitching techniques tailored to their respective business models.

Following the competition, Juan Carlos Martinez, Project Manager at CEEI Burgos, introduced the METEOR project. He presented the project’s main objectives and its expected outcomes, engaging the audience with the importance of methodologies for transparency in eco-conscious research.

The multiplier event concluded with a session titled “Startup Resurrection,” where entrepreneurs shared personal stories about challenges and failures they encountered on their journey—and how they overcame them. The session was both inspiring and educational, resonating strongly with the young audience.
