METEOR Project Takes the Stage at Research Seminar 2025 in Bodø, Norway
The METEOR – Methodologies for Teamworking in Eco-Outwards Research – project received a prominent spotlight at the Research Seminar 2025 held at Nord University in Bodø, Norway, on February 20, 2025. Over 70 researchers and advisors gathered to exchange knowledge on the future of research communication and education, and the METEOR initiative played a key role in the event’s success.
Empowering Future Researchers Through METEOR
Professor Anne Marit Valle from Nord University presented the METEOR project, offering valuable insights to the seminar attendees. This project, funded by the European Union, is designed to equip PhD candidates with future-proof skills for thriving in both research and industry. METEOR emphasises fostering interdisciplinary collaboration across Europe and aims to enhance the societal impact of research through innovative training.

“With METEOR, tomorrow’s researchers will have a solid foundation for an exciting career – whether in academia, industry, or the public sector. The project shows that collaboration is the key to innovation and development.”
Key objectives of the METEOR project include:
- Equipping PhD candidates with the skills to excel in both academia and industry.
- Fostering collaboration across borders and disciplines to enhance research outcomes.
- Providing a blueprint for the future of doctoral education.
The Research Seminar 2025 not only spotlighted METEOR but also brought together research communities focused on enhancing education and communication in academia. With its innovative approach, METEOR is set to leave a lasting impact on how doctoral programs are structured and how researchers are equipped for the challenges of the future.
